Achievements of Oxfordshire club runners

This web page aims to provide a record of runners of Oxfordshire clubs that are doing well in events. I'm not including parkruns and races with fewer than 10 runners. You can click any of the photos to see it in hi-res. My thanks to those people that supplied photos.

Please email me with omissions, corrections, suggestions or praise. I'm interested in runners (U17 and above) who finished 1st/2nd/3rd/4th in their age categories in events since mid-July 2021. Please include a link to the results.
Help needed: it would be great if you would let me know about events/runners that are missing.

If you wish to search this web page, enter into the box the name (or part of the name) of a runner/club/race or a date like 2022-05-08 or 2022-05 and then click Submit. The case of letters is ignored. If you wish, you can use name@club.

After the races, the prizegiving for the 2021-22 season of the Oxfordshire XC League took place. The prizes were awarded by Jessica Gibbon of Reading AC who was recently crowned 2022 English Women's National XC Champion.
The first photo shows Rowan Miell-Ingram (Radley AC). The league manager writes: "In the men’s race the first two runners Rowan Miell-Ingram (Radley AC) and Simon Byrne (Swindon Harriers) built a signficant lead over their nearest rivals with Rowan securing his second race win of the season. With that win Rowan also secured the overall men's title ahead of his brother, Alex, on the basis of head-to-head results over the course of the season. Simon's consolation was to help the Swindon Harriers 'A' team trounce the opposition once again to emphatically retain men's Division 1 team title."
The second photo shows Sophie Lloyd and Becky Hodgson collecting the Women's trophy for White Horse Harriers. The league manager writes: "With Sophie Lloyd resting for the final round and already assured of her place on top of the podium in both the season-end senior and overall women's category standings with back-to-back victories in each of the previous rounds, the opportunity presented itself for another athlete to claim a victory in the women's race for the first time this season. That opportunity was grasped by Becky Hodgson who, in doing so, led the White Horse Harriers women home to retain the women's Division 1 team title."
The photo of Rowan was taken by Wendy Miell-Ingram and the photo of Sophie and Becky was taken by Carol Lloyd.

photo of the top 3 finishers
This photo (taken by Tony Lock) shows Jack Shayler, Joe Godwood and Matt Lock who were 2nd, 1st and 3rd.
Joe finished in 32:43. I've looked at runbritain. I didn't find anything before 2007. Looking at each year from 2007 to 2021, the fastest time I found was 33:32 in 2014. Joe beat that by 49 seconds. The race organiser has indicated to me that, although records going back to when the event was started don't exist, the course has been the same for at least 10 years. I would go back further as yesterday's course was the same as the one I ran in both 2009 and 2011. So Joe may have set a new course record - he definitely has the fastest time on that course since 2009.
